…here are some of the things that have happened since my last post way back at the end of March:
My stepdad had a fall and was admitted to hospital. he was there for 3 1/2 weeks. When he was finally discharged, the prognosis… wasn’t great.
We were recording the soundtrack album for Night:City.
We were rehearsing for the live premiere of Night:City.
My stepdad sadly passed away on 16th July (not a complete surprise, but sooner than any of us had expected).
9 days later, on 25th July, Night:City premiered despite everything. My cast were fantastic and my stepbrother brought my Mum along so she was at least able to see it. At least we’d had a couple of rehearsals at my parents’ house so my stepdad got to see some of the in-progress scenes.
Summer kind of happened.
My 50th birfday happened.
Night:City physical album release happened.
My Mum’s 80th birfday happened.
And most recently, I’ve had either flu or covid and I’m still recovering!
Hopefully I really will be back to posting a bit more regularly now – starting with some retrospective posts catching up on what I’ve missed!
